Prof. Chaudhari is a doctorate in engineering from IIT Bombay. He was graduated from Government Engineering College Aurangabad in 1987.

He is an educator by profession with over 36 years of experience at Various Engineering Colleges of Maharashtra State.

He started his teaching career at Government Engineering college Aurangabad and served there between 1990-2002.

He has served as Professor of Electrical Engineering at College of Engineering Pune for 17 years[2002-2019]. He executed various roles at COEP such as Head of Department, Chief Rector, Dean Academics, Dean Quality, Deputy Director and the Board member.

He was also the part of State Project Facilitation Unit for TEQIP project during first phase and was Procurement Coordinator for 17 institutions in the Maharashtra State.

He has set up Center of Excellence in “Smart Renewable Energy Systems” at COEP. He has designed and established Electrical Machines laboratory in MHRD’s Virtual Laboratory project.

He has 100 + research publications to his credit, filed 6 patents which are granted by Indian patent office, Guided 6 PhDs.

He has fetched the funding to the tune of 7 crores for various research and developmental projects.

He was the mentor for NIE Mysore and academic auditor for PDA College of Engineering Gulbarga and Sant Longowal Institute of Technology, Singur, Punjab.

He took VRS from the service of Government of Maharashtra in March 2020 and has joined SPIT Mumbai.

He was the member of the Western Region Council of AICTE. He was member of AICTE model curriculum 2018.

Presently he is a member of academic council/board of studies for 11 institutions/universities in Maharashtra.

He is the board member of VJTI Mumbai, FRCS College of Engineering Vashi, MIT group of institutions, Aurangabad, Somani College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Mumbai.
